Every transaction carries a tax consequence whether the transaction is a new will, a business or property purchase, a business contract or a new business structure, or even engaging new staff. Often, there are unintended tax consequences of these types of transactions. From 1 December 2009 Griffiths Parry Lawyers is pleased to launch its new tax law practice. Headed by Paul Petersen, the Griffiths Parry tax team will assist clients to identify the tax consequences of transactions in this complex area of law and to propose tax efficient solutions.
The Griffiths Parry tax team will also partner with their client’s financial advisers to provide strategic taxation advice to maximize taxation opportunities.
Paul Petersen is an Associate of the Tax Institute of Australia and is well placed to keep at the forefront of current tax developments and how they will impact a client’s personal and business affairs.
