Lawyer - Wills & Estates

Celebrating its 50th year servicing Sunshine Coast businesses, families and individuals, Griffiths Parry Lawyers is looking for a lawyer to take on and develop the Wills & Estates practice area.
This service area is responsible for delivering to our clients:
- Estate admin documents (simple to complex Wills, powers of attorney, advance health directives etc)
- Advice on estate planning
- Estate administration and application of probate
- Estate litigation by way of defending or contesting Wills
To reach “champion” status in this role, you must have the following:
- Unrestricted practising certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience in drafting and executing estate admin documents
- Experience in Commercial litigation would be a bonus
- Ability to manage a somewhat demanding practice area due to the nature of the work and cross section of clients
- Great communication skills
- Ability and drive to grow a service delivery area, including maximising cross referral leads within the firm
Secretary/Paralegal – Wills & Estates Law

Working closely with a solicitor, this role will suit someone who has previous experience and is up for a challenge.
The role will be supporting a lawyer in the delivery of legal services covering:
- Estate documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advanced Health Directives, Binding Death Nominations
- Estate planning advice
- Applications for Probate and Estate Administration
- Estate litigation such as provision of family applications as well as defending claims against the estate
- Management of safe custody documents
Paralegal – Business & Property Law

This opportunity will suit someone with some paralegal experience wanting a change or someone already in a legal support role who wants to elevate their career and development and progress to being a Paralegal.
The role will be supporting an Associate lawyer in the delivery of legal services covering:
- Sale and purchases of businesses
- Property transactions such as leasing, sub-developments
- Management rights
- Franchising
- Commercial contracts and agreements
Key Tasks:
- Drafting client correspondence and legal documents
- Client file management, including the maintenance of electronic files, maintaining bring ups of critical dates and timeframes, client accounting and billing, and closing files
- Contact with clients regarding their matter and other interested parties involved
