Part of dealing with a relationship breakdown is the division of property and who gets to keep what. For most people, dealing with this aspect of a relationship breakdown can be overwhelming and for most of us, it is the first time you have to work with a lawyer to resolve your problem (apart from maybe buying a house).

If you only have a modest asset pool – like a family home (with a mortgage), a car(s), household items, cash in the bank and super – then you don’t want to waste your personal wealth on legal fees. Find out where you stand quickly and easily.

If you have just been told that your partner wants to separate, or you are thinking of ending a relationship … speak to one of our team today.

How does it work?

You will be taken through the process of a property settlement and have an assessment of what you should be able to keep, all for a fixed fee, agreed upfront with you. No hidden charges or add ons.

STEP 1

Phone our office today (or fill in our online form) and speak to a lawyer from our family law team…free of charge and no ongoing obligation.

STEP 2

You will be given an online questionnaire to complete and send back to us.  This tool is easy to use and will also give you some helpful information about going through a property settlement for you to consider.

STEP 3

We will then review your information. The more information you provide us and the more accurate that information is, the better equipped we will be to give you realistic, honest advice as to who gets to keep what.

STEP 4

You will then have an appointment with the lawyer allocated to you. This appointment can be in person, by phone or via video and will take up to 90 minutes in duration. The details of your scenario and the situation you are in, will be explained. You will also be taken through your next steps and what you will need to do to reach an outcome.

STEP 5

You will then be provided with a detailed letter of advice which will outline all the information that has been gathered, what we expect you will keep in the property settlement, what your next steps are, and your options should you not be able to reach an outcome.

We pride ourselves on providing fast, responsive, and honest family law services.
